CCSD2 is in its final stages of a months-long review process for the new district-wide K-5 Elementary Math program starting in the 2023-24 school year and beyond. Throughout this year, a committee of teachers from across the district have narrowed down potential choices, and our committee has recently made their recommendation for the final three programs to be considered. Of the final three, one program will be selected for adoption:
Parents and community members are welcome to participate in the selection of the new program from our final choices. Samples and data are available at various sites for review:
Unfortunately, due to a limited number of samples, there are no physical materials at Elk Mountain or Medicine Bow. If parents are interested in reviewing materials in those communities, they can either contact HES in Hanna to view the samples, or contact Curriculum Director Noel Manning nmanning@crb2.org for access to digital sample materials that are available online.
Samples at the above locations are limited in number, so it’s recommended that you contact the school in advance so we can ensure they’re available for your in-person review. Finally, all feedback regarding the programs must be collected by Friday, March 17th, using an online feedback form that is accessible via smartphone using instructions where samples are located.
Thank you for your help with this process of selecting the best program for our students! If you have any questions, please contact Curriculum Director Noel Manning at nmanning@crb2.org or 307-326-5271.
